whatever the aesthetic sensibility of my paintings they all veer towards the idea of our attachment to place and time. they catch moments that drift into the past and towards the future. be it the city as a beehive or a spaceman that melts into his craft, an evanescence pervades and i wonder about appearance and disappearance.
